ARTHUR ADAMS OOLA THE SLAVE GIRL EPISODE 6 SKETCH Picture(s) and Description:

ARTHUR

Fog City Art Presents, Arthur Adams Oola the Slave Girl Episode 6 Sketch Artists come and go as do fads in the industry. But, many of today's popular artists have one man to thank for the basis of style that have given their career notice - Arthur Adams. Few fans or artists, for that matter, can help but admire his highly illustrative and fun style. Plus his wonderful story-telling, brought to life with each and every rendering is only achieved by a rarefied pool of master craftsmen. Is there any other reason he remains a fan favorite? All that and a hell of a nice guy too! Tired of all the fan art on e-Bay? Your favorite dealers not presenting their latest mortgage busting stuff out for you to watch? Well, lucky for you Arthur is fooling around again, taking a break from his hectic schedule to relax, have fun and draw another sketch. All I can say is, OOOOLAAALAAA. So you fan-boys think a girl with two croissants on her head and a sack cloth gown is sexy? Well, you might want to wait until I get the ewok in a bikini out for sale. For the rest of you he-fan-boys, here is one of the hottest bantha poodu babes that not only Jabba got his licks out of - now you can too bantha boy. But it just goes to show that whether its hot tentacle headed alien slave babes or icky, creepy, monstrous thingies can only be convincingly drawn by a true master craftsman. Once more Arthur draws one of the biggest one-scene cameos ever who hasn't yet been hated and feared by humanity...certainly not me. Arthur's own creation certainly leaves me breathless. And its a heck of a lot more interesting than a lot of other artists' renditions - of any character. So, here is the rare occasion where we let the legions of Arthur's fans have a chance at a simply lovely work of art. Arthur has only turned out a handful of sketches over the last several years due to work commitments. But don't look too long - all you brave Watchers need to get in on the act or pay more later. Don't doubt me. And please don't win so I can have this for all my own. OK....ready, set, bid! Fog City is the source for great comic art! Some background: This sketch was penciled and inked by Arthur Adams. It is in mint condition measuring approximately 6.75" x 10.75" on strathmore paper. Arthur has signed and dated it toward the bottom. There is some residual blue line from the underlying structural sketch. Art area represents about 99.5% of the measurements. Please read carefully: Winning bidder to obtain US Priority Mail shipping, insurance and handling as part of the auction price. Please note: e-Bay won't let me quote insurance in the auction anymore - why? Its part of the secret master plan, which they didn't think I would understand - they are right. However, An estimate of the insurance cost and postal fees is included in the handling cost. I can do that - e-Bay says so. The shipping price is its own number reflecting merely the packaging and sending of the item - nothing else. To be fair, though, I will adjust my estimate of insurance to actual based on the final value up or down after the auction is over. This is the most prudent and safe thing to do for highly desirable and valuable collectibles and a standard industry practice in the art world. Should we transact business outside e-Bay the process of including insurance in the total shipping cost would be the same although not weighted by description one way or the other. e-Bay has only made it more confusing for you and more cumbersome for me. If this new wrinkle, which is really a repackaging of the old wrinkle, rankles you then maybe we'll hook up on the flip side. But, to stay in business and continue offering these great items on e-Bay to a wide variety of collectors despite the hoops I continually have to jump through in this forum, that's what I got to do. Please don't mistake a minor shipping cost as being more important to you than the beauty of the art you are receiving. Because if you are inclined to the former then I'd rather lose your sale than deal with an upset customer. If you pay before I send you a billing I'll assume that you do not want full and fair insurance coverage. If that is the case then you'll have to understand that should the art be damaged in shipment then that is not my problem and there are NO refunds. Don't say I didn't warn you because you didn't take time to read the auction terms. Non-US winning bidder (including Canadians) to pay Priority Mail International or Express Mail International service charges as required. Insurance is required to the maximum amount of final auction value as allowed per country of destination - SEE above insurance explanation - don't come back to me saying I didn't warn you. This is an expensive service even for Canadians. Please note that insurance coverage on non-US orders is severely limited. So, damage in transit can not be adequately covered and there are no refunds. So, please think before you bid! International Buyers- Please Note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight(shipping) company or when you pick the item up - do not confuse them for additional shipping charges. We do not mark merchandise values below value or mark items as "gifts" - US and International government regulations prohibit such behavior. Other payment methods are available - you know, the ones e-Bay won't allow me to mention. If this is something you prefer (as I would prefer) then e-mail me after the auction and I'll give you a billing with options. If you can't pay on these terms DO NOT bid. I will not make special arrangements after the fact. Also please be patient. Delivery takes longer than you'd like because our respective postal services are just terrible. So, don't get angry with me. Please note that large package will be posted by the Saturday following payment clearance into my bank. Non-Payment, non-compliance, feedback extortion or PayPal complaint after the auction because you didn't like the shipping terms clearly laid out above WILL result in the inability to pursue other Fog City auctions. PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 10 POSITIVE FEEDBACK. California Residents: Winning bidders with an address in California will be required to pay sales tax. Sorry, but I didn't vote for them. Think about that when November comes rolling around. Please e-mail me at Fog City Art for more information about this piece and a bunch of other great comic art!
