Hello! I've reached a point in my life where I've amassed more stuff than I can appreciate. Meaning, I can't enjoy it because I don't have the room to do so. Keeping things in storage isn't enjoying them. So, I'm placing some cool stuff up for auction. Here is a piece of original comic book artwork from Jeff Smith: It's Phoney Bone from his comic book, Bone! This piece of art has been locked away in my personal Fortress of Solitude for almost ten years. It is part of the treasure trove that was the 7th Annual Wizard Scavenger Hunt from Wizard magazine No. 100. I was the grand prize winner(tooting my own horn as we speak) As far as I know, Wizard hasn't held another 'annual' scavenger hunt since 1999/2000. Go figure. Anyway, the artwork is in excellent shape. It is a little small...3 and 7/8ths inches wide by almost 5.25 inches tall. It looks like it was cut out from a larger piece of paper. If the edges look slightly rounded, that's because they are. Must be from freehand scissor use. The piece is signed by Jeff Smith, too. Also included is a Wizard envelope that held the Bone art, and a page of Cartoon Books stationery, stating what the art is for(The Wizard Scavenger Hunt)...both not pictured. Now, I never put stuff up for auction with a reserve price, but as far as original art is concerned, I have to be a tad cautious. So yes, there is a reserve. Hopefully, a modest one when all is said and done. But, bidding starts at just .99 cents. Go to town, fanboys! Now for the details: Winning bidder must make payment within three days of auction's end. PayPal only, please. No exceptions. And no, I cannot end my auction early. Sorry, Charlie. The artwork will be mailed flat inside a box for added safety. Insurance is mandatory, and the cost is to be determined by the final price as set by the USPS. International bidders are more than welcome. However, international shipments must be trackable and insured as well. If bidding from outside the USA, contact me prior to bidding so that I can give you a fair and accurate shipping quote. And yes, I will combine shipping for multiple items won.
