Up for BID: A Bronze Age copy MARVEL COMICS SUPER SPECIAL #1, featuring KISS, 1977. A $1.50 MARVEL mag/comic. This issue features a 40pg KISS story by STEVE GERBER, with artwork by ALAN WEISS, JOHN BUSCEMA, RICH BUCKLER, SAL BUSCEMA, and ALLEN MILGROM. Cover by WEISS & MORROW. Story contains appearances by DR. DOOM, SPIDER-MAN, AVENGERS, FANTASTIC FOUR, and MEPHISTO. The INK used in the story is said to contain REAL KISS Blood. This copy of MARVEL COMICS SUPER SPECIAL #1 is in VF+/NM condition, maybe even a little better, depending on one's subjectivity. Glossy cover. Sharp edges and corners. Just one stress line along the spine that divides into two. Nice tight book, clean, shiny and secure staples. Original price is blacked out with marker and 50c is stamped in the K of KISS. Centerfold is firmly attached. White pages. The issue is whole and complete, it has no tape, no writing, no cutouts, or restoration.
