Original

23" x 29" - mixed media on bristol by LOTS of cartoonists 2009-2010 Have you ever attended a comic convention and you've seen fans walking around with these great sketchbooks that artists have added a little something to? Well, what if you could take that sketchbook and have it hanging framed on your wall? That is exactly what we have for sale for you here. This "jam" drawing has been worked on over the past few months here in the Los Angeles area. We have taken this board around to CAPS (the Comic Art Professional Society), to hotel lobbies, to the Walt Disney Studio, to the CTN Expo in Burbank, to cartoonists homes, even on the back of a car trunk on the streets of Montrose. From October 2009 to January of 2010, many top names in the cartooning business have added their little piece of brilliance to this group drawing - guys from animation, comic books, comic strips, and illustration. So, here is who drew on this board: Glen Keane - animator of Disney's Beast, Ariel, Tarzan, Pocahontas, etc. J. Scott Campbell - known for Gen and Danger Girl comic books Mike Mignola - creator of Hellboy Don Bluth - animation director of Secret of NIMH, An American Tale, etc. Stephen Silver - character designer of Kim Possible, Danny Phantom, etc. Nik Ranieri - animator of Disney's Lumiere, Hades, Kuzco, Meeko the raccoon, etc. Andreas Deja - animator of Disney's Lilo, Scar, Hercules, Jafar, Gaston, etc. Eric Goldberg - animator of Disney's Genie, director of Pocahontas & Fantasia 2000 Tom Bancroft - animator of Disney's Mushu, Veggie Tales Tony Bancroft - animator of Disney's Pumbaa, Kronk, directed Mulan Phil Yeh - Winged Tiger comics and founder of Cartoonists Across America William Stout - illustrator, designer, dinosaur guru Peter de Sève - character designer of Ice Age, and New Yorker Magazine cover artist Lou Romano - former Pixar development artist, voice of Linguini in Ratatouille Sergio Aragonès - MAD Magazine and Groo comic book artist Craig McCracken - creator of Powerpuff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends Dean Yeagle - magazine cartoonist and animation director Stan Sakai - creator of comic book Usagi Yojimbo Bill Pressing - Pixar story artist (Ratatouille, Up) and Rex Steele comic book Jeff Keane - artist of Family Circus strip & President of the National Cartoonists Society Chris Sanders - director of Lilo & Stitch (also voice of Stitch) & How To Train Your Dragon Don't miss this spectacular opportunity to acquire a piece of art that is sure to be the envy of collectors the world over. Please check out our other auctions (with more going up January 28 and February 4) of cartoon art from ILLUSTRATION, ANIMATION, COMIC STRIPS, COMIC BOOKS, and SCULPTURE donated by the studios and artists themselves to raise money to Help the Hodges!
