Tales to Astonish 36, 1962. Third appearance of Ant-Man (second appearance in costume). A classic Silver Age Marvel cover. This copy is CGC graded 6.5 FN+ with Cream to Off White Pages. Ant-Man was the first real costumed Marvel hero, predating the Fantastic Four by a few years, he ushered in the Silver age. Like Tales To Astonish 27 and 35, It’s a very difficult book to come by in high grade. It’s a very nice copy for a 6.5. Very little Marvel chipping, I think the blunted top left corner is the most significant reason it doesn’t grade higher. The CGC case is pristine and new. I include a mylar sleeve for the case.
