Wolverine 1 NM+ 9.6 Frank Miller art, Claremont story Picture(s) and Description:

Wolverine 1 NM+ 9.6 Frank Miller art, Claremont story Description: Here's the story on these Wolverines. When these came out, something told me to buy multiple sets, off the stands. Shelling out 60 cents times four each month, believe it or not, was a big deal when I was a kid. But I had a hunch these were going to be big. I was also fortunate enough to realize I should cherry-pick the best copies. I sold the other 3 sets long ago, and kept one set for myself. This is that last set. As you can see by the scans, there is not much to be found wrong with these. I can find a small spine stress mark on two of them, and an ever so slightly less than sharp corner on two. Why am I not slabbing these? Based on the wealth of actual sales I looked up on Nostomania, if for some reason CGC disagrees, and does not give me the 9.6 I believe each of these are, I would probably lose money. Look at the Nosto sales data - take the slabbed 9.4 values, subtract the 25 bucks it would cost me to slab them, and I come out behind. So it's your good fortune that I decided to have some fun and let them rip here, starting at a penny. One last note - I scanned them inside the mylars, which is not ideal, but by providing decent scans of both front and back covers you can see how nice they are. And if you're a regular customer, you know what you will be getting. Notes: Frank Miller art, Claremont story A great place to research actual sales for help bidding is Nostomania (.com) Shipping and Payment Information: Shipping is $3.75 in the United States for this auction. Each additional auction adds $0.25, up to a maximum charge of $8.00. Shipping outside the United States is negotiable. When overseas, I prefer to use the US Postal Service Global Priority Mail which is usually $13.00. Payment is by any acceptable means. Five simple reasons why you should go to my main auction page and bookmark it: I don't use reserves. Don't you hate winning a book, only to find your bid didn't meet reserve? Unlike some big dealers, I don't "dangle carrots" or "test the waters". When you see me put a book up for auction, you know it will sell, for whatever the highest bidder is willing to pay. I know how to grade. I've been grading comic books for almost 30 years, and I pride myself on having worked to improve my grading skills during that whole time. I'm not saying you will agree with my grade every time, but I do claim that you will agree with my grading more than you will almost all other eBay sellers. I know how to pack to make sure your item arrives undamaged. Just like grading is an art, so is shipping. Rest assured I pack each item assuming it has to endure all kinds of abuse and still arrive undamaged. No risk. If you aren't satisfied with your item, for any reason, return it in the same condition for a full refund. It's that simple. A wide variety of items available. While I may not have the sheer volume the big dealers have, I somehow manage to keep coming up with a great variety of books, so if you are patient and check back from time to time, you'll definitely find something you will be interested in.
