X-MEN #1 "1963". Published by MARVEL. Cover & Story Artwork by JACK KIRBY! This is the ORIGIN & FIRST Appearances of the uncanny Superhero group know as.. The X-MEN!!! This issue features the 1st Appearance of MAGNETO who became, and still remains the biggest villain to the X-MEN, and one of the biggest villains of the entire Marvel Universe. This issue showcases the very 1st Appearances of the now famous Superheroes from both Comic Books, and Major Motion Pictures: PROFESSOR X, ANGEL, BEAST, MARVEL GIRL, ICEMAN, and CYCLOPS!! The cover shows nice colors, and still retains it's original cover gloss! There are stress creases along the spine which has a slight roll to it, and there is rust migration to the staples. There are a few small edge tears, and some cover creases (see large photo's below for both the front and back covers). There is no tape, store stamp, arrival-date, writing or markings of any kind anywhere. The pages are Off WHITE, and tight to the staples. The comic is complete, and unrestored. This is a solid, presentable copy. It has been Professionally PGX Graded 5.0 VG/FN. NOTE: The glare seen mostly at the top edge of the comic is from my scanner, and does not exist on either the comic, or the sealed case. Terms of Auction: I ship to the United States only.
